Renew the charter
for packs, troops, teams, crews, and ships.
A
representative of each unit can now complete the paperwork for renewing
a charter online. From Internet Re-chartering, you can indicate
returning members, add new members, and update information for an
individual or the chartered organization. |
|
Here’s how to get started:
-
Select an
adult to be the renewal processor for Internet re-chartering.
-
From
60 to 45 days before the unit charter expiration date, the
renewal processor should gather re-charter material.
-
Select
First-Time User and enter the unit access code.
-
Select
the unit type and enter the unit number.
-
Create
a password as instructed.
-
Complete the information requested on each screen. You can stop
at any time, log off the system, and begin again where you left
off by reentering your access code and password.
Here’s how to wrap it up:
-
When
you’ve completed all the information to re-charter the unit,
click the Submit button.
-
Print
the Unit Charter Renewal Report Package, which includes the
charter renewal application and lists of new members, transfers,
multiples, and no-fee adults.
-
The unit leader and the chartered
organization representative sign the charter renewal
application.
-
Bring the application, all new Scout
or Leader applications, along with the material you
received in your re-charter packet (such as the Quality Unit
application), and all appropriate fees,
then take the entire packet along with new applications and
fee payments to the council office or to the district
turn-in meeting.

are unsure about re-chartering online, please go through the tutorial to see
how easy it is!
